These photographs represent a body of work I have long been developing and researching.

Through the aid of a camera malfunction I discovered the sun's ability to not only expose, but physically burn and scar the surface of a negative. After countless experimentation with emulsions, papers and chemical combinations I have developed this technique into an expanding body of work.

Images have been captured using large format cameras ranging from 4x5 to 20x24 inches using a variety of vintage B&W emulsions and papers.
